AFP-SC Congratulates Endorsed Candidates for Primary Night Wins
COLUMBIA, SC – Americans for Prosperity-South Carolina (AFP-SC) congratulates Speaker Murrell Smith (HD-67), Assistant Majority Leader Brandon Newton (HD-45), Rep. Phillip Bowers (HD-03), Rep. Blake Sanders (HD-09), Rep. Travis Moore (HD-96), Rep. Randy Ligon (HD-43), Rep. Tim McGinnis (HD-56), Rep. Carla Schuessler (HD-61), Rep. Jeff Bradley (HD-123), Johnnie Garmon (HD-115) and Rep. James Teeple (HD-116) for winning their primary elections. Endorsed candidate Hunter Hackett also advanced to a runoff, which will be held on June 23.
AFP-South Carolina State Director Matt Humm released the following statement:
“Americans for Prosperity-South Carolina congratulates our endorsed candidates on their victories last night. We look forward to working with them to make South Carolina the freest state in the South.
“Moreover, we applaud our statewide grassroots network that contributed to last night’s victories. We look forward to deploying this army to propel Hackett to victory in the upcoming runoff.”
