AFP-SC Statement on Gov. Beshear’s Visit to South Carolina
COLUMBIA, SC – Today, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear will deliver the keynote address at the Blue Palmetto Dinner in South Carolina.
AFP-SC State Director Matt Humm released the following statement:
“Instead of Beshear coming to South Carolina so he can get a jump on his presidential ambitions, he should spend more time solving problems in Kentucky. South Carolinians are not looking for lectures from a governor whose policies would be bad for this state and bad for the country. Kentuckians want permitting reform, affordable housing, and to be empowered to choose the best school for their children. Beshear’s focus should be on delivering for Kentuckians.”
